In this episode, I was at UTS Forest Hills, NY with a media pass. They invited influencers to have a tennis clinic with Monfils where I met this episodes guest, Jules Marie! We played some doubles King of the Court and shot this quick interview.

Jules Marie is a professional tennis player that took 6 years off from the ATP tour and came back to break his record ranking 203 in the world. He talks about his goals, journey, and what he likes to do on his off time. Thanks for the time and hit, Jules! Cheers!

Hall of Fame Open Pre-Qualifying Post Match Interview | Petro Kuzmenok TTP Ep 24

In this episode, I travelled to Newport, Rhode Island to play a pre-qualifying event in which the winner receives a wildcard into the qualifying rounds at the ATP 250 Hall of Fame Open. I interview my first round opponent, Petro Kuzmenok, after we finished our match. Petro is a rising sophomore at Rice University playing for their D1 Varsity team. It was his first time playing on grass court but he got the better of me. Good match and pleasure to have you on the pod, Petro. Cheers!

India's Unspoken Tennis Hero Vishal Uppal | TTP Ep 23

In this episode, I travel to Gurugram, India to a ITF W35 tournament and got the chance to interview the director of the tournament, Vishal Uppal. Vishal has a long list of accolades including representing India in Davis Cup, former captain of India's Fed Cup team, captain of India's Junior ITF team, winning an Asian Games Medal, and founder of the Tennis Project where we are located, a project that was started to give more Indian tennis players better access to international level tennis.

In this episode, I travelled to Newport, Rhode to play a pre-qualifier for the ATP 250 Hall of Fame Open. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to talk to the director of Tennis, Bill Mountford, who oversees everything that happens at this amazing venue.

ATP Challenger Pre & Post Match Interview w/ ATP 210 Tristan Boyer | TTP Ep 20

In this episode, I interview Tristan Boyer at the ATP Challenger event at the Delhi Open. Tristan answers some questions before he goes up against Geoffrey Blancaneux in the semi finals. In this laid back interview, Tristan is regripping his racquets, stencilling them, and gearing up for his match. He unfortunately lost his match 6-3 6-4 and we take the post match interview from the restaurant before he had to get moving to his next destination.

In this episode, I travel to New Delhi, India to an ATP Challenger tournament, otherwise called the Delhi Open. I had the opportunity to interview the champions of the doubles draw, Matthew Romios and Piotr Matuszewski! They had played the last 3 weeks together as they played tournaments around India and topped off the trip with a huge win!

AO Series

In this episode, I met up with (at the time) world no. 158 Gabriela Knutson in Melbourne, Australia during my Australian Open series. She played the qualifying rounds of AO, losing in a tight third-set tiebreaker in the final round! We walked around the Melbourne Botanical Gardens as she told me about her experience at the tournament and life as a tennis professional.

In this episode, I challenged Miguel Reyes-Varela to 2 tiebreakers at West Side Tennis Club, Queens, NY. I played with my brother, Nick, and Miguel played with his friend Gustavo. Miguel is ranked 85 on the ATP tour in doubles. He was warming up for the Tennis Hall of Fame Championships in Newport Rhode Island when I ran into him and challenged Miguel on the grass tennis courts, Wimbledon style!

How To Make a Tennis BY HAND?! | Jeu de Paume

I travelled to Paris, France and had the opportunity to check the Société Sportive du Jeu de Paume et de Racquets. Rod, the head pro, showed me how he makes the tennis balls for Jeu de Paume by hand.

If you're wondering, jeu de paume was the first version of tennis, started in France in the 1400s in a monastery. It was originally played with their hands, hence the translation "game of the palm". The game popularized in England when it transition to lawn tennis and anyone could buy a net, racquets, and balls and play on their own.
